Peter V. Khang serves as Deputy General Counsel at the Los Rios Community College District. Prior to this position, he served as the Director of Diversity, Compliance, and Title IX at Los Rios and as Deputy Counsel at the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office. In Mr. Khang’s prior roles, he provided best practices and trainings on diversity, equity, and inclusion and the benefits of diversity in the workforce.
Mr. Khang is a native of Sacramento and currently serves as a mentor and member of the Luther Burbank High School Law and Social Justice Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Asian/Pacific Bar Association of Sacramento and hopes to one day start a bar association for Hmong attorneys.
